The Conference is being held at BMA House in London over two days, gathering together a meeting of over 150 Librarians, Editors, Publishers, Researchers and many others, working together to improve scholarly communications.
The Conference opens with a Keynote by Professor John Willinsky, founder of the Public Knowledge Project, continues with a variety of panels, presentations and workshops, features a debate on the resolution ‘Scholarly publishers are no longer necessary’, and concludes with a keynote by Professor Kamran Abbasi, Editor in Chief at The BMJ.
