With the registration site only open since 16 October, registrations for the 2018 Researcher to Reader Conference are being made extremely rapidly, with 25% of the total 2016 and 2017 registration level already achieved.  For the 2017 event, this level of registrations was only achieved by mid December.

With only two days left of the October-only Super Early-bird, people across scholarly communications are still registering at an unprecedented rate.  Reflecting the multi-disciplinary nature of the event, delegates from across the whole scholarly communications life-cycle have registered; a small sample of registered delegate job titles is shown below:

The Super Early-bird rate is available until midnight UK time on 31 October, and the normal Early-bird is available throughout November.

Registration for the 2018 Researcher to Reader Conference, which will be held in London on 26 & 27 February is now OPEN. To register, visit the registration page on the website.

There is a SUPER EARLY-BIRD offer available just during October, and delegates can book this at no risk, as all tickets are fully refundable until the end of January 2018. 

In addition to the early booking discounts, special rates are available for Returning Delegates who attended the R2R Conference in 2016 or 2017 or the ASA Conference in 2014 or 2015. Discounted prices are also offered to Librarians and Academics. Conference Sponsors also benefit from free or discounted places, depending on the sponsorship package selected.

We are very pleased to announce that Dr Fiona Murphy has joined the Advisory Board for the 2018 Researcher to Reader Conference.

Fiona is an independent research data and publishing consultant advising institutions, learned societies and commercial companies. Fiona is also an Associate Fellow at the University of Reading, a Board Member for the Dryad Data Repository and has written and presented widely on data publishing, open data and open science.

She is a past and current member of several research projects including PREPARDE (Peer Review of Research Data in the Earth Sciences), Data2Paper (a cloud-based app for automating the data article submission process) and the Scholarly Commons Working Group (a FORCE11 project devising principles and practices for open science systems).
