We are thrilled to hear that long-standing Researcher to Reader Board Member Rick Anderson will be the new University Librarian at BYU from 1 September 2020.  This is a well-deserved promotion for an outstanding member of our community, and we offer hearty congratulations.

Brigham Young University Academic Vice President Shane Reese announced the appointment today (2 July). Rick is currently Associate Dean for Collections & Scholarly Communication, and will succeed Brian Rennick, who has been interim university librarian since December 2019, following the passing of university librarian Jennifer Paustenbaugh in November.
