Research Information, which – like Researcher to Reader – is the essential link between publishers, librarians and researchers, is offering a free place at R2R 2020 for one lucky subscriber who is a librarian or an academic.  Full details are available on the Research Information website.

Researcher to Reader is probably one of the few ‘publishing’ conferences that would be genuinely attractive to academic editors and researchers (as well as librarians), as the event has an agenda that covers the whole scope of scholarly communications from the Researcher to the Reader.  The programme is also designed to be very friendly, open and interactive, with collaborative workshops and participatory panels.

The Programme for the 2020 Researcher to Reader Conference was announced today, including thought-provoking presentations, debates, panels and workshops, featuring first class international speakers and moderators.  The Programme (which is subject to change) is available on the Conference website: https://r2rconf.com/r2r-conference-programme/

Unusually, the Programme has been announced shortly before the expiry of the special October-only Super Early-Bird registration tariff, allowing potential delegates a brief opportunity to see what they might be signing up for, at a deeply discounted rate. (Although registering early is at no risk, thanks to the generous cancellation terms available.)

Registration for the 2020 Researcher to Reader Conference is now open. Delegates can secure a extra discount by registering before the end of this month, entirely risk-free, as there are a few Super Early-Bird tickets bookable during October at an amazing discount of about 33%.

Some programme highlights are announced below, and a fuller programme should be announced in late October, but early booking is entirely without risk, as registrants can cancel for a full refund at any point up to the end of January.

We are very pleased to announce that Wilhelm Widmark has joined the Researcher to Reader 2020 Advisory Board. Wilhelm has been a long-term supporter of the R2R Conference, having attended all of our annual meetings. He is the Library Director at Stockholm University, and has been on the executive board of LIBER since 2012. He has master’s degrees in Library Science and in Literature from Uppsala University.

We welcome Wilhelm to the R2R 2020 Board, where he will be a significant asset to the strategy, programme and visibility of the Conference.
